I recently stumbled across this package when searching how to uninstall another texture add-on which I did not like. I only fly commercial flights, so spend most of my time at airports or at 36,000 feet. I am however always looking for ground textures that look better and more realistic for when I go to spot view or come in to land etc. Obtaining the download files from Sascha was very efficient and the installation very easy. The first impression was wow, what a difference, and a positive one at that!! I did 2 flights, one from Istanbul to Athens (daytime), the other from Athens to Bucharest (nighttime). Hi Sascha, 1. I've noticed that there is a greenish tint to some of my areas. For instance I was re-working KLZU, and I wanted to get a more accurate color for the runway. I noticed I had to choose "Shale" for the runway. Do I have a setting wrong or an installation issue? I notice this greenish blue tint on all my scenery. Not a deal breaker. FS9 issue maybe? 2. Some of the textures are blurry more than normal. I have all my sliders to the right, so it's not an FS9 setting on that. It looks like there might be a double pass over some textures or something. Not a scenery guy, so if you can give me a push in the right direction for tweaking that would be…

Looking at the screen shots posted on here, this addon is looking really good. Currently, I have UT USA, UT Europe, FSceneX, REX and various airport addons from flytampa and Aerosoft. Would i be able to install Evo over what I have right now or am I going to have to uninstall USA, Europe and FSceneX?

I just installed EVO this morning, and ran a flight... within ten seconds of loading, FS9 crashes with an FE.DLL error cited in the event viewer log. Also, I get these weird visuals. Anyone know what I might've done? Getting weirder... I fixed the visual issue and crash by restoring my original vanilla FS9 textures from Ground Environment Pro (forgot I even had that installed...) but my autogen is still looking really patchy, as seen in the screenshots above. I have UT residential roads and lights disabled, so I don't know what could be causing that...

Hi Sascha Please forgive me if this issue has already been addressed but I glanced through the posts and didn't see it. With the new autogen, the improvements are superb but there is one thing that doesn't look right to me in the Europe scenery I have explored so far. There are quite a few "high rise buildings" - tall structures - that appear randomly in certain rural areas. (e.g. Northern Italy, flying out of LIPA Aviano AFB) Though they certainly pose an interesting challenge for cross country low flying ^_^ they don't really seem to look right in a rural environment as many of them are completely isolated from any kind of adjoining human structures - just open fields…

Sascha you have done some seriously great work here. I had no idea that FS9 could EVER look this good. Still testing it out, but this Dusk flight I just did around the KATL area is unreal. Short Final KATL 26R 3 mile final. Just departed Gwennet County KLZU. Even though, I am using Active Sky Evolution, I did not load any textures at all except yours. I have more images, but I have to get to bed. LOL

Hi All, Have just come across this great looking product. I am getting back into flight simming. My computer is not upto running FSX so I have my old copy of FS9. Have been reading the forums about FS9.75 and it says about ActiveSky, REX and GEPRO. So would EVO9 replace GEPRO? Every penny saved helps! Many thanks for your help. Plus how would I donate? I have installed FS9EVOv2.0 into my FSSW50 and FSSW60 sims and it's working all right. I have only a small problem with frame rates in certain conditions, and I'm not altogether certain it's your new files. As I climb out of the clouds and rain, the frame rate increases until I am above the clouds at which point the FPS will jump from 6.0 or 7.0 PS to 25 to 30FPS, where it is locked. I've noticed however that if I am on the ground and taxiing with the clouds and rain, the FPS will remain from 6 to 7 FPS, unless I elevate the spot view to where the distant scenery is out of the picture and only the area around the aircraft and immediate runway, taxiway or apron i…
