  2. Greetings Mario! First of all thank you so much for your lovely freeware Avanti. It was the first aircraft I obtained and installed after I recently purchased FSX:SE. It's a joy to fly when I don't feel like taking the heavies out of the hangar Anyway, back to the "problem" I have. I heard that it might be down to FSX not saving all the conditions of an aircraft once you save a flight then reload it at a later date, but could you please confirm or deny this? I'd got up to a cruising altitude of 40000 feet - the cabin pressurisation had been working as it should throughout the flight. After reloading the flight, the warning light was on as was the fault light …

Hello, First of all, thanks for your amazing South America Scenery. Roads, rivers, coasts are very nicely placed in FS9 scenery. However, flying in south of Brazil, en route from SBPK to SBPA, also around SBFL mountains, I noticed that there is yellow ground that looks like a desert. In reality terrain in Brazilian South should be green, not yellow. Just wondering if I´m doing something wrong. Thank you.

  5. Hi All! edit: This is now a freeware project, test it out here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/lln7i95ghptng0x/AAAFiCOMMyhQVydgWG0rJkv3a?dl=0 To decrypt, enter "TheHunHunterTexas" (mods, I do not use this passphrase anywhere, but I do not feel lime uploading 250MB again just to remove the password, so if you can, let it be here visible to everyone) also, if you would like to contribute to expand this to worldwide scale, just ring the bell! I have been working on a big big scenery lately, covering Western Europe with OSM vector data for coastlines, roads, lakes and even some VTP land class (for urbanized areas)... The scenery covers all western Europ…

  6. Started by ematheson,

I'm sure you've seen the thread on Shipping in the FS9 forum - for convenience, I've linked it at the bottom of this post. To summarize, a massive ship-placement file was created by Johan_Dees using a real-wold database of ship locations. Sadly, this file has some major limitations: the FS9 world doesn't match the real-world very well and some ships are double-placed, resulting in stacked objects. There is no easy way to fix the second problem - that must be done on a case-by-case basis. However, you, working on the OSM project, have an opportunity to fix the first problem. Since you are already processing huge amounts of shoreline/land-/water-mass data, it may be possib…
