DA40 FSX | P3D

Hey everyone, I've reached out in a number of different places with these issues, and Alabeo seems to have abandoned the DA40 series without fixing some things. No response from Alabeo. Has this series simply been abandoned?

Hello, I am currently working on my ATPL and am quite new in the world of simulators, so sorry in advance if some of my questions appear silly 😉 I would like to train at home using the plane I'm flying with but I have a few issues and I am seeking for help 🙂 I installed P3D V4 Academic and bought the DA40 from Carenado (which the same as Alabeo's right ?) Hello. I got both of these, DA 40 and recently bought GTN 750, so I was thinking were omeone able to put GTN 750 into VC maybe? I suck at panel configuration, so i was thinking it maybe fit in place where original GPS sits? Help is apreciated. Thank you

Hi i open this topic just to post a solution for thenot working DME of DA-40. But you have to own alabeo 172Rg and have it installed. Open alabeo 172rg panel.cfg : search and copy "GAUGE_172_DME!Radio_KN62A_DME". just this text not the gauge number or coordenates. open alabeo DA-40 panel cfg: on Vcockpito2 replace gauge01. so you must read" gauge01=GAUGE_172_DME!Radio_KN62A_DME," do not change other thing or coordenates. done! save and enjoy.

Hello. I just wanted to do one simple flight with my DA 40 after some time, but engine RPM dropped to idle and power lever stopped responding. Temperature on 2500 ft where it happened was -8,7, scattered clouds, but I had heat turned on and cabin heat too . I honestly did not expect that to happen . I also did not found alternate air source as is suggested in emergency procedures. I could use some explanation here. Edit: I just remebered that it is injection system. SO here is additiona data , heating was on pitot and both handles, fuel pump was on 2400 rpm in cruise and about 25 power. I am positive that low air temp caused this, but it is weird since my A2A Ch…

Has anyone been able to install the Alabeo DA 40 in Steam FSX? I keep trying, it says it is installed but is nowhere to be found. I have FSX DVD version on a different hard drive and no matter where I direct install folder it keeps installing on the FSX DVD version. I'm trying to manually move all the folders and files to Steam but it is getting pretty tedious. Where are the GPS files kept? Thanks for any advice.

Need help, I'm at Tapini land strip at Papua New Guinea (paid addon) and I'm unable to make the aircraft move, throttle all the way up and brakes off and nothing. :(

Hi all - I fly a DA40 - can anyone else who does comment on the accuracy/feel of the flight model? Also, the one I fly has a GNS530/430 stack. I own the RealityXP set, and though I might not be able to get it into the panel, does anyone know of any issues using in in undocked windows? thanks, Andrew

I got this plane yesterday and yes, it's pretty. I've whizzed it around a bit and it seems OK...except. The GPSs are useless! Thery're supposed to be 430s but not as we know them. I can't get the moving map except once in a frenzy of manic clicking! Terrain doesn't seem to be in evidence either. I've tried substituting them for my modded Carenado 430s but it won't play, not on both GPSs anyway. Why on earth don't they just give bliksimpie a call and ask him to do their GPSs? Rant over. Hey fellow DA-40 Flyers, may be you've come across the same issues. Why is the engine a 6cyl engine? AFAIK a IO 360 M1A / A4M (4 cyl, inj.) is used (or a Cenurion Diesel)? What I am also missing: the typical hiccup the DA40 gets when it is leaned and you throttle forward. Greetings

Is anyone else hearing a high pitch sound, or ringing in the engine of the DA40? it is driving me crazy, and forces me to mute the engine when at high RPM. Any help would be apprecated.

What version of the Da-40 is it the early Rotax, the 180 Lycoming or the later diesel ? Its not in the docs, from the low rpm in the normal procedures im guessing its not the inital Rotax.
