I put together a simple Youtube video that shows 4 of the cities in Flight1's XTreme Cities SouthCentral. I think it's an excellent product that adds some realism to default FSX cities. I run it with FTX Global and Vector. All of the cities except Dallas perform well...I run into some VAS issues there. It integrates well with FTX. I put labels on the vid so you can easily move around and see the cities. You can compare them to what you have in your sim and Google Earth to see what you think. P3D offers a Bathymetry setting here: Other than allowing for under water exploration, it also reduces wave heights based on ocean depth so you don't get huge ocean swells happening in shallow waters. Here is a quick video demonstrating the affect of Bathymetry setting on the wave heights in shallow waters. LM provide Bathymetry data for US East/West coast and Hawaii (this was actually available in P3D v1.x series). The Bathymetry data isn't perfect, sometimes you may see a spike or two because of data errors from the source ... but I think it would be a very nice features for 3rd party to explore more (especially for inland water bodies). I have…

My fuel planning was a little off on this flight, got lucky and ran out of fuel after landing while taxing to the fuel pumps. Had to do a go around twice (1st time around Cherokee taking off, 2nd time just way too high) - 7S3 was a new airport for me but discovered a rock quarry. Flew over the dreaded VAS killing and frame rate unfriendly KSEA. Ran into some other AI traffic enroute care of UT2. Winds were moderate to calm for most of the flight. Here are https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bw0Q-fAfEZwyekZZM0Y0ZnBYMTQ/view?usp=sharing the GoFlight files I created for use with GIT and specific to the TwinOtter (a switch or two missing, but got most of it, in…

I learned much, and enjoyed much. Couple of things I need to change in my GoFlight gear/mappings. Happy to report I had enough remaining VAS after landing at Aerosoft's Tromso that I could fire up FSDT GSX for ground services. Apparently Sonderborg can accommodate A3xx (real world) but I couldn't find any "scheduled" flights. All settings, hardware specs, flight info, and 3rd party usage are in the video description (and in the video itself). Cheers, Rob.
