Captains,Two news items:1. I recognize that a lot of you are sticking with FS9 and that some of you do "not" own the PMDG 747. If that's you and you still want to experience the 747 Edition in FS9 using the default FS9 747, I have just released an FS9 version of the Default 747. Links are available at: www.fs2crew.comWhen I was planning the 747 Edition, I anticipated that everyone would switch to FSX. That most certainly has not materialized, hence the new FS9 747 Edition.2. For French users:During the install, FS2Crew adds a Situation and a Flight Plan file to your Flight Sim X folder located in your "My Documents" folder. These file are used for the Tutorial Flight. They put you at RKSI and load the flight plan into the GPS. They are not necessary, but they're helpful if you want to run the Tutorial flight.Trouble is, it appears that the French Version of FSX does not use the same folder name as the English version. I recently purchased FS2 Crew Default 747, but I have been unable to get it to load. Anytime I try to get into the 747 (loading from free flight, loading the tutorial flight, or loading a free flight with a different airplane and changing planes) FSX crashes. I have run the "restore gaugesound.dll" and I did set the FSX 2D panel for the default load. Please advise. Thank you.

Hiya Bryan, I use several FS2Crew products, the best being for Ifly 737. However, on occaision I like to fly the default B747, and so downloaded FS2Crew for this. For quite a while I have used Friendly Panels B747 2D panel which is far better than the original default one. Simple question, is there any way I can adapt FS2Crew for use with this panel? I have tried various things but so far been unsuccessful. I have still been enjoying flying the original panel and FS2Crew but would much prefer to use the Friendly Panels panel. Hope you can help. After one and half year later, today I moved 747-400X from hangar. Installed F2Crew Voice Version. Ready to fly, Then I changed my mind I wanted to install F2C Button Version. ( That was my major mistake) After installation completed I started FSX tried to select 747-400 FSX crashed., crashed and keep crashing...... In next six hours what ever possible reinstallation I can think about F2C,FSX, Acceleration, including several times uninstall/reinstall PMDG 747-400X , no way I can stop FSX crashing with F2C Button Version. l just downloaded and installed the default 747 fsx edition and have not been able to play it yet, l also have the 767 edition and it is working fine, l can load the start center and save and exit to fsx, but as soon as l choose the 747 plane the computer hangs for a bit then crashes the flight program and l am back to the desk top, l have the update installed and have uninstalled and reinstalled the program with same problem, and like l said l am able to play the 767 ok. my system is quite new and updated with some good hardware to play games, and the latest video drivers for it from ati. any advice would be greatly appreciated.Thanks.....

The screen buttons of my default 747 fs2 crew are missing,i have the other buttons above the default icons for which i can request a fuel apu start and others but no voice or screen buttons. i am using fsx on vista.

hi bryan when i down lded the fscrew i did everthing the manual told me too and nothing is working i can fly it ok but just as anormal flight as if i never downlded anything for it thats the best way i can describe it if u would like to come on my computer to ur more than welcomeles

Hi guys just have 2 questions iam trying to make a flight from tokyo to tampa florida intnl airport but on the flightplanning panel option des for pas i cant see tampa the closest i see is miami :).. is this normal ?>thanks

Hello all i just Downloaded the The Default FS9 and FSX 747 Edition Forum fos fsx. i Go to click on the flaps guage in windows screen and it prompts me to install a file frommicrosoft office xp professional with frontpage. here is the thing i run windows xp Professional. If there is a way to up load the file with out having to buy a new office that would be awsome.i am curently running a office 2007 program.

Hi All. I have a problem when I try to select the preflight briefing the yellow light comes on but no sound. I have assigned keyboard controls and tried my joystick for the master button. Still no luck. I uninstalled the progam and re installed it loads of times also i have reinstalled direct 9 but still no luck. Im using windows XP with fsx. What ever breifing I select none of them work i have been trying for a few days and now im wondering if i have wasted my money. Would appreciate some help please.

PMDG 747-400F FSX, SPOILERS AND REVERSE TRUST DOES NOT DEPLOY ON TOUCH DOWN IN AUTO LAND

I follow the installation directions and everything.. I can get the VC view. but I can't the panals with FS2crew. I reinstalled it twice and when the FS2crew is not installed the 747 panel is there and working.. Also, when i try switch livery 747 all of my 747's planes are gone.. thats when FS2Crew is installed.. Please help..

In the tutorial flight i know wich is my runway (15)The problem is that when i load a new fly plan i cant know wich ones is going to be my assigned runway to departure before i ask for clearance..... How can i know my RW departure, If i have to open the Flight plan on Fs2Crew before asking for a departure (the airplane is off)Thanks

I am following the tutorial that goes from South Korea to Tokyo, and everything goes well until I get close to my destination. The default ATC person is telling me to turn to a certain bearing when thats not what the tutorial instructs me to do.I'm trying to land on runway 34L according to the tutorial but ATC tells me to circle to land on 16R I believe, so I get all messed up.How do I make it so the ATC goes by what the tutorial says to do? Oh and how do I enter the ILS frequency and heading in? Where is that entered on my panels?Oh one more thing, I try to save my progress along the way, but if I want reload using my save file. My FS2Crew settings reset to default. …

I purchased your FSX 747 program and love it. I am having trouble when trying to enter numbers in the cockpit. For example when I am setting my course I can only get like 60, 70, 80, and I need 69. Before I installed this program I could get this to work. Same with the altitude. I can only get thousands place to change. Thanks for the help.Matt

When using the Fs2 (FSX) Default 747, everything is fine until after take off. After take off the the gages radio, gps, flight director quits, It is like someone turned the main battery switch off. Need help
