Never saw that before. I suggest a fresh install, like this Make a backup copy of the folder: FS-ATC-Chatter\Regions. That will preserve your full clip collection. Using Windows settings, uninstall FS-ATC-Chatter Download and install the FS-ATC-Chatter 1.2.4 demo from here: https://stickandrudderstudios.com/fs-atc-chatter-sample-collection-and-demo/ Replace the Regions folder with the backup you made above, so that the Regions folder contains the full clip set Start FS-ATC-Chatter and see if that corrects it. @vbazillioYou will get that radio busy status when: Either you or SIAI is transmitting SIAI Chatter is playing If it is happening too much and you are getting mostly SIAI chatter, then you can turn down the SIAI chatter slider.

Question I would like to know more about how you work with MSFS ATC and FS-ATC-Chatter. As an example, do you map joystick buttons to the ATC response panel to initiate requests and respond to ATC? As you might know, MSFS has no API that I can use to know when ATC is transmitting. If I had that, I could pause clips when the radio is busy with ATC COMS. The best I could come up with so far was to cause FS-ATC-Chatter to set the next clip start after the MAX delay setting in seconds whenever you change frequencies on the radio. Typically when you do that you are likely to start an ATC request so I could at least prevent the next clip from starting too soon. I might be able to do something similar when I see you interact with the ATC panel. That is why I'd like to know how to interact with it. Mark

The first enhancement is an integration to SayIntentions.AI ATC. This integration allows SayIntentions.AI to control for which controller chatter should be played. It also supports pausing chatter playback when SayIntentions.AI indicates that the radio is busy due to pilot/ATC transmission, ATIS monitoring, other nearby pilot transmissions, and canned or generated SayIntions.AI chatter. The demo clip set has also been increased from 400 to 1,000 clips in the U.S. The larger demo clip set will allow SayIntentions.AI users to participate in this open data with a reasonable set of free clips. In the next version, it will be possible to select the country and airport ICAO, but it is essential to remember that, although we have a large number of clips, not all countries have clips available. If you look in the FS-ATC-Chatter\Regions folder, you will find a ClipTags.csv file that lists the ICAO and Country for all the clips. Mark

Yes, in the next release of the player, we will enhance it so that it knows what country the clip came from. The X-Plane X-ATC-Chatter player already does this, but we need to add it to the FS-ATC-Chatter player. That said, you need to realize that we don't have clips for all of the counties. You can look at the CSV file, ClipTags.csv, in the Regions folder of the FS-ATC-Chatter root folder to see what countries we have clips from. Mark

The regions generally follow the regions outlined in the international feeds on LiveATC.net. https://www.liveatc.net/feedindex.php The radio getting switched back might be caused by MSFS automatically tuning the radios for you. Mark

FS-ATC-Chatter is aware of your position and knows if your tuned frequency has a facility in range and will choose the right type of controller (tower, ground, approach, etc). However, it selects clips based on the Region you selected and those clips are not likely to be from the airport you are near. FS-ATC-Chatter can tune the selected radio to any frequency you select from the nearest frequency list. You do need to have the right radio selected and for most users, this defaults to the radio you have as the transmitter. You can change it using the COM1 / COM2 radio buttons at the top of the control panel. Mark
