August 25, 2025Aug 25 I'm not really sure if this came about in the SU3 update or was present before, but as of right now NONE of the "free" Airbus(s), meaning 330, 320, or 321, are working for me. I'd love to find a way around this, I've reported on Inibuild forums but have seen no response. For me these planes are dead in the proverbial water. Here is the problem: I have the Thrustmaster Airbus sidestick and throttle but I dont think this is specific to that, and the same hardware functions perfectly on the Fenix or Headwind, I have done the calibration in the Inibuilds and the detents in the cockpit all seem perfect. OK, so takeoff goes fine, I command Flex power and it displays so... But on reaching 1500 and Level Climb is flashing, I drop the physical throttle back to that detent, and... NOTHING. I have removed the throttle and set keyboard control over next/previous detents as a test, it also move the cockpit throttle as it should, but I get the same behavior. It is unable to latch Climb Thrust, and because auto throttle control isn't attained LNAV also does not work. I can't find a way around this, it means all 3 planes are unusuable, can anyone else confirm, or have a solution to this? I hope 😞 Jack F. Vogel, Delta Virtual Airlines
August 25, 2025Aug 25 I’ve been having issues with the a321 and a330, including premature touchdown sounds and VNAV not able to meet the constraints. I’m not sure if it’s just pilot error, but the fbw a320 flies perfectly for me in comparison
August 25, 2025Aug 25 Author I hadn't checked the FBW, I have it installed in 2020, I prefer the Fenix so I haven't bothered in 2024. Like I said, the Headwind 339 works as well, at least in this issue, but the cockpit in that plane is bleh, and I want the cargo version of the 330-300 (Prime flies it) anyway. Thanks for the reply!
