June 20, 20241 yr So... the other day after watching some great screenshots and vids from beta 7 I decided to brake my 100% dedication to MSFS 2020 and pushed it to my rig... It's still under analysis and I like the new separation between FXAA and MSAA, even though I haven't found any big improvement in AA overall, but, well... I always like a ride in the Toliss and took my 320 NEO for a ride, or tried to... Starting at a gate with jetways at LPFR ( Faro ) I can never get the Jetways to attach to the aircraft 😞 If I press SHIFT-G the option to call ground services is available, but the one to attach the Jetway is always greyed out ? Any ideas on how to make Jetways move at default airports ( I don't own ANY payware airports... ) ? All the gates are getting upgraded to the new movable ones, and that will take time, they also have to be checked to confirm they move as they should. Could also be an aircraft thing, try a different one

Everything works just smooth & fine out of the box... Will try with other aircraft and see... June 20, 20241 yr May be so, but they gave billions of dollars and huge amount of people working on it. Xplane is a labour of love. Is why I do airports.
June 20, 20241 yr should "just work" everywhere in XP12 couple of notes: It needs to be an XP12 airport - so if you are on an old XP11 airport (e.g. downloaded from the org, or a payware scenery that hasn't been updated for XP12) they will be static objects rather than live XP12 jetways Not all jetways work yet - e.g. dual jetways were a WIP last time I checked - there is also some gateway airport work to do - but most were automatically brought over It needs to be able to reach the door - e.g. you can't attach a jetway to the F14 cockpit - depends what the aircraft has defined. WED has very nice tools that show and change the operation of gateway jetways, I used it to update a couple of the XP11 sceneries I use. June 20, 20241 yr Author Yes, thanks! Appears to be airport nd jetway-type specific, and indeed it happens at LPFR at a double Jetway gate... WIP maybe...
