August 5, 20232 yr Can someone who bought MSFS 2020 at the Store and not Steam tell me what the last line of your user.cfg opt file (InstalledPackagesPath) should read. I changed mine at the advise of a support guy who's aircraft I had bought and can't remember what it was. A word of advice: DO NOT CHANGE IT! Thanks guys! John Snyder Jr

August 5, 20232 yr The "path" is the path of the folder wherein the community and official folders reside. This path on my computer is C:\msfs2020. The path will be different on your computer. In other words my community and official folders are located in this folder: C:\msfs2020 The last line of my usercfg.opt file properly reads as follows: InstalledPackagesPath "C:\msfs2020" And, yes, the " marks must be there. replace C:\msfs2020 with your "path". 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. August 5, 20232 yr If you put the wrong line at the bottom of usercfg.opt , then when you boot up msfs it will tell you that you need to download zillions of gigabytes of files. If you have put the correct line there, then msfs will not tell you it needs to download files.
