Pico 4 vs. Reverb G2

Featured Replies

I'm happy with my G2, I never have used a Pico 4.

Pico 4 cost about $430 (Walmart etc.).

VR Flightsim Guy seems to think the G2 gives better framerates, but the Pico 4 gives the better image (it has better lenses). Both have the same resolution, but lens quality also matters. The Pico 4 has air conditioning (fan blows air onto your face). The Pico 4 has better designed hand controllers.

His bottom line is that with a series 4000 video card then the Pico 4 is on balance the best. But with lesser gpu the framerates of the Reverb G2 make it the best choice.

His videos are more and more a salesman like. Too bad I use to like him before, stay with your G2 IMO Pico is not worth it if you already have the G2.
