October 21, 20223 yr Sim Innovations has released a beta version of KnobFS which is a utility that lets you use your Knobster in VR via a little popup menu that lets you choose a control and then make adjustments with the Knobster. It doesn't work with homemade knobs.

October 22, 20223 yr Yup - works great in VR too (Reverb G2). Excellent. Works: well with the MSFS stock aircraft I've tried; for some, but not all, of controls in the JF Arrow; none of the controls as far as I can see on the PMDG 737 (which is no surprise as no doubt all those controls are specifically bound in the PMDG software). I found with mine, the KnobFS window would briefly report that my Knobster wasn't connected but then would connect and populate. But I'm not using my Knobster in SPAD.next. Perhaps SPAD has grabbed exclusive control of the knob and thus KnobFS can't connect? Total guess on my part.

Just don't enable the Knobster in SPAD. I'm using SPAD to map my Alpha and Bravo but I haven't enabled my Knobster in it and everything is working fine.

That is a difficult step for me as the Knobster works perfectly -with SPAD- as the FMS outer/inner knobs and Push inner knob on Garmins. October 28, 20223 yr Author Russ Barlow has posted a good overview of KnobFS and its capabilities over on YouTube. Definitely worth a watch. I learnt that you can add custom controls using LVARs AND that the menu of selectable controls is aircraft-speciific.
