May 30, 20224 yr Hello, I just bought a TCA Thrustmaster Yoke Pack Boeing Edition and I have a problem. I have been using X-plane 11 for about 3 years and I haven’t encountered such problem. I have been using a Logitech yoke and rudder pedals and a Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog. When I connected my new TCA Thrustmaster yoke and throttle quadrant, I went on X-plane and they asked me to configure the set up (assign a fonction to each button). I did that and then I started a flight. I did a flight and everything went well. The yoke and throttle axis responded very well and every button worked. However, the next day, when I opened X-Plane, I realized that my yoke and throttle quadrant were no longer configured. In other words, every axis and button were set to "do nothing" and I needed to reconfigure the yoke and throttle quadrant. At first, I thought that it was a bug with X-Plane because with my 2 previous set up, X-Plane was able to remember the configuration of my flight controls. So, I did another flight and everything was fine like last time. But, when I closed X-Plane and re opened it, I realized that once again, all the configurations were lost. Then, I realized something strange, in the configuration menu of my TCA yoke and throttle, there’s an option that sais save default configuration file (or something like that I tried to translate it from French to English). I clicked on it and they asked me to save a file. I named the file and saved. Now, I don’t know what to do with that file. What should I do now ? Also, I am using an MSI computer and the plane I fly is the Zibo 737-800. I am using an old Zibo version. Finally, I am relatively bad with technology, so maybe the answer is obvious. Thank you very much for reading my message, I really appreciate it.
May 31, 20224 yr Your keyboard also seems to not working (properly). Or have you copied the text from somewhere, without adapting the font size? May 31, 20224 yr Author Indeed, I copied and past some text to be sure I have the name of the yoke right. I didn’t realized it at the time. Sorry about that. I am typing on my cellphone not my flight simulation device. Also, you haven’t seen me here because I didn’t know that this forum existed and like I said it’s the first time I have a problem that I cannot solve by my self. As stated in my previous message, I am not very good with computers. However, if someone has an aviation related question, I would be pleased to help. I tried to copy and paste my text to change the size and it doesn’t work. Thanks for reading.
May 31, 20224 yr I guess you set up the yoke with a separate profile, which is not the default profile (or something like that). In this video, you can see it at the bottom left, where it says Active profile: User profile. Check those profiles on your install. May 31, 20224 yr @737800W26K : The log.txt might also help. Please upload it here, so that we can have a look. BTW: you say, you are using XP since 3 years. So, you don't know the org-forum, where maaany more XP users than here are lurking around? Where from do you download sceneries, planes, ...? May 31, 20224 yr Have you installed the required software and drivers from the Thrustmaster site? They are required for proper functioning. Windows default works perfectly fine, In fact sometimes the software can fight with xplane. If its working in the xplane set up window, than xplane can see it, and you have some other issue

June 4, 20224 yr Author Sorry for the delay I have been busy with work the last tow days. Something wired happened tonight. I tried to connect my TCA yoke and throttle quadrant to my computer to see if the problem was still there and I realized that unlike last time, the computer would not want to recognize the yoke. (I can’t configure it nor play with it) However, it recognized the quadrant well. Although I can configure and use the quadrant perfectly, I still have the same problem as last time (X-Plane will not remember my settings when I close it) I currently don’t know what log.txt is, but I will do some research on the subject and try to attach it. I also tried to download some stuff on the Thrustmaster support website, however that doesn’t fix the problem. I am aware of the X-Plane.org forum and I even have an account. However, for some strange reasons, it tells me that I am not allowed to chat. Thank you all very much for replying to my messages I really appreciate it. I will try to find a way to attach the log.txt whatever that means. thanks for reading. ✈️
