May 6, 20224 yr Not sure how many of you follow the Flite Test channel, but it started as a hobbyist RC aircraft channel on YT. It quickly transitioned to scratch building, then toward teaching STEM to children, and lately they've purchased a CNC wire cutter for foam. The channel really took off, and they raised enough money to purchase a closed golf course and turn it into an RC airfield. They turned the clubhouse into their shop, and they have a business selling kits. They hold huge events where they teach kids to build, and then fly what they've built.
