I am devastated by the fact that C-119 Fairchild is not available for P3D V5.

Any ideas how to get it working in V5?

&

Orbx Central wouldn't even install it as it couldn't find P3D v4 on my PC as I had pulled it & have P3D v5.3 instead.

I am guessing if you had v4 & v5 on your PC you could get it for v4 then move it to the v5 file structure.

Would it work?

Not sure.

It does !

The Sabreliner is  quite 'cute' - an ugly duckling compared to most executive jets, seems well implemented but just flew a circuit so can't comment on complexity.

We just need a way of convincing Orbx central that we have V4 installed to get the V4 birds flying in V5...

Thanks Keith, actually I like his "classic" lines.

Are you referencing the C-119?

If so, how did you get it into P3D v5??

T45

Sorry, I thought my answer quoting your question, this was clear. But not 😉

Yes, I was referencing the C-119 and the need to "fool" Central.

You need to let him thing you have V4 installed,

I created a "library" in Central, were I selected to download the aircraft.
And then just move the content of library_path/p3dv4 to library_path/p3dv5.

If you need more details let me know (on MP and email).

Am I correct in saying you actually have P3D v4 installed?

T45

No, I just "created" a fake environment and added some registry keys like it is described in a video to install PMDG V4 birds in V5 ...

Some folders named according LM rules in ProgramData, UserData and Documents populated with a subset of .cfg files (add-on, terrain, ...)

After you can convince Central that you have v4...

Good luck

The interior textures are rather bland. Have better looking freeware like Milton Shupe stuff for instance. Even the Lavigne Falcon 50 looks better and that was from FS9.
