How to add Windows TTS-Voices

Featured Replies

Hey there,

first of all, sorry if this was already asked. I searched through the forum but didnt find anything helpful yet.

I am using a Windows 10 system and added more TTS voices via Settings->Time & Language.

That works pretty good and I can use all of them in Pilot2ATC but I cant see nor add them on MCE. Maybe I do something wrong?

Hopefully someone can lead me to the right direction 😃

Thank you

Make sure you also install the 32 Bit variants of the voices. AFter that MCE will list them

In ,Command> tab of MCE UI, click the <Change> button next to co-pilot voice.

In voice assignment screen, click "TTS voices" at the top and see which ones MCE has detected and select one of them.

Thank you for the fast reply. I guess the Problem will probably be the 32 Bit variant. I'll try to fix that.

Happy Landings 😃

Hey there,

thanks for your reply. I already used to add Voices like in the video mentioned above. They also work in Pilot2ATC but I cant see them in MCE. Its because of  the 32/64 Bit architecture mentioned in the comment above, didnt find out yet how i can use the 32 bit TTS in a 64 but system

Commercial voices like IVONA or Cereproc come with dual 64 and 32 bit installers for their voices. I don't know whether Windows 64 lets you use the free voices in their 32 bit variant. You can definitely run them though.
