My specs show why I am disappointed using Quest 2 and MSFS, the fps is very slow when looking to the left out the window and down, you can see the ground 'jumping' along, in other words very slow frame rate. I have tried all he settings in tray tool, and Oculus and WVR.

Anyway, I hear Aerofly is way better than MSFS in VR. VRFlightGuy says this is so too in his videos.

On eBay Aerofly is under $20 for steam edition. It is $60 on Steam.

Has anyone tried the $20 eBay sales? Feedback from purchasers looks good.

How it works is this: you pay $20 thru eBay and the seller sets up a Steam account with email account and password of his chosing and sends you that information. The seller also buys Aerofly F2 and puts it into that account.

So if you already had an Steam account, now you have two of them. Your old account which has all your current games. And this new Steam account with one game: Aerofly.

I wonder if anybody here has tried buying Aerofly on eBay?

Hi @Fielder,

if you want Aerofly at a discount - would personally wait for a Steam sale - could be waiting for a while,

& comparatively, $60 is actually a reasonable price for a high performance VR sim - albeit with limited features,

wrt your Quest 2 & MFS, I have found that limiting the frame rate using OTT to 18Hz with ASW gives a smooth performance - I know that sounds very low FPS - but on my system gives very pleasing results in areas like Burbank & LA,

of course you need to adjust settings to suit your system,

it is MOST important to make sure that the OTT ASW setting has actually applied - can check this with the OTT performance HUD,

can definitely give very smooth performance looking out the window & down - whilst at low level - viewing dense LA nighttime streetscapes - without the juddering lights below…

that’s how you test your settings are correct for your system…
