Why do you think that? You are at more risk in a helicopter. They aren't any different to any other aircraft. In fact most eVTOL's have multiple redundancy. The airlines wont be using them, they are short range air taxi's. The airlines are investing in hybrid not full electric. Smaller operators are interested in full electric, like DHL for example, who have put in a big order for the Eviation Alice. Alice isn't a short range VTOL air taxi though, its a conventional take-off and landing longer range electric aircraft. It was 1000 kilometres, but after a redesign to satisfy DHL its now slightly shorter range and a nose wheel instead of tail dragger.
