July 26, 20214 yr Hi All, I am self professed loser when it comes to PC spec's/knowledge so my apologies. If you need to know about astronomy though I'm your man! I've been in touch with Chillblast (just around the corner from me actually) and had a chat about a setup that may suit my budget (around £2,500 or just a shade over for the PC and no peripherals). They have sent me the below spec but I would like anyone's opinion on the below and whether you might change anything? As said, I just don't know enough about PC's and my brain is too full with other stuff to learn anything else and I fear if I do, it may start to push the other stuff out so I'm very sorry for the laziness. I haven't played Flight Sim in many years and I so want to get back into it with the latest version. My last foray into it was FSX and my PC was so bad that it just put me right off! I'm now in a better position in all respects to have another go and I cannot wait! July 27, 20214 yr Hey, I have a similar system. 5900x, EVGA 3080 ti FTW3, same MOBO as you. The only thing I would upgrade with the spec above is DDR4-3600 instead of 3200. Ryzen makes good use of faster memory. Otherwise - should be ok 😉 4K will be hard but possible....
