South America (Brazil) Charts - RXP 750 on X-Plane11?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a complete twin engine simulator with RXP GTN 750 unit on it and I was wondering how I can get the charts updated?

Is this fully linked to the database provided by Garmin/Jeppesen or there is another way of doing it? I basically want to open SID, etc.
I'm running the latest 3.0.0 database/trainer (gtn 6_70_29).

Thanks,

Filipe

It depends on the DB and whether there are any charts included with it.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. So the database can only be the one taken from Garmin/Jeppesen or can I get these charts loaded somehow?

Regards,

Filipe

They must be from Garmin or Jeppesen, it might also be only Garmin is providing "Charts" but I'm not sure.

You can download the (free) Garmin GTN Trainer and try it yourself.

In the Trainers\Databases folder, there is a fc_tpc folder that contains the charts.

What do you mean with try? The ones available in the trainer are for US only and I wanted to include the ones for Brazil.

Replace the whole folder with your Brazil data and see if it works... I would expect it to.

Oh.. okay.
I meant to confirm because I still need to buy the charts package as the friend that has the subscription only have the basic database, not the charts.
