Another Rift S it is then!!!

Asus Maximus X Hero Z370/ Windows 10
MSI Gaming X 1080Ti (2100 mhz OC Watercooled)
8700k (4.7ghz OC Watercooled)
32GB DDR4 3000 Ram
500GB SAMSUNG 860 EVO SERIES SSD M.2

I long resisted the upgrade from Rift CV1 to Rift S, believing that the improvements are too small to justify the price. Boy was I wrong! The Rift S is a much more significant upgrade than what it appears to be on paper. Definitely worth it, especially for flight sims.

I then got an Oculus Quest 1 and even with all the latest updates (Quest Link and Virtual Desktop), it comes nowhere near the Rift S quality and ease of use.

It was only when I upgraded from Quest 1 to Quest 2, that there was finally a small but perceivable improvement on the Rift S. So, I'm now selling my Quest 1, but holding onto that Rift S with dear life. Not sure I would even let it go if I ever get the HP Reverb G2.

For $299 the Rift S is definitely worth it, unless you also want to jump around and happy with a forced Facebook account, then get the Quest 2 instead.
