November 15, 20205 yr All flifht plans imported to Pilot2ATC asign a cruise altitude of FL180 , is there any way to disable it and get cruise altitudes upper than FL180? All flight plans are made traveling inside Europe Thanks
November 15, 20205 yr Commercial Member Just click on the Cruise Altitude and enter whatever you like. It will adjust it to follow Bearing Based Altitude rules unless you check the "Ignore Bearing Based Altitudes" option.
March 24, 20215 yr I have the same problem with VFR flights - setting the altitude too high for a short flight. Altering the altitude results in no change. I have the minumum altitude in config set to 2000' but it won't allow anything below 3,500'.

When I create a flight plan with LNM or Simbrief I always export in X-Plane .fms format, and when I import this into P2A it always transfers the cruise altitude of the original flight plan correctly (only sometimes slightly corrected for bearing-based altitude) Dirk
March 25, 20215 yr Commercial Member If you have 2000' as the min AGL, then assuming the elevation is 1 foot or more, and you are heading East, the min altitude would be 3500, because the program always rounds up to get you further away from the ground. start: 2000 + 1' terrain elevation odd for East bound: 3001 500 for VFR: 3500 In the real world, at least in the US, when below 3000' AGL you do not have to adhere to the East/West bound Odd/Even altitudes and you don't have to adhere to the 500' rule either. This relaxation of the rule is not currently accounted for in P2A. Dave Edited March 25, 20215 yr by Dave-Pilot2ATC
