ATC give wrong/not full/not giving at all taxiways(MSFS2020)

Featured Replies

Hello, I use Pilot2ATC at all and I tried to fly few time with this addon and sometimes the atc gives wrong  taxiway instructions and one time he just didn't give me taxi instructions at all(i think it was in OIBB airport).

and in LGSA airport he gave me wrong taxi directions that doesn't match the airport diagram. I assume it will happen in more airports that I haven't tried yet.

Can I do something to fix it ? or you know about it and will fix it in next patches ?

You may use TaxiMnt to import Taxiways from X-Plane or P3D/FSX, if you have them.  If not, you may modify taxiways and names manually in TaxiMnt.  See the User's Guide for details.

But I play only FS2020, can I import taxiways from fs2020 ?

and also in the default FS2020 ATC the taxiways is wrong sometimes.

can I import taxiways from P3D after DOWNLOAD OR BUY IT and use it in FS2020 ?

Where is the user's guide ?

The FS2020 question will have to be answered by Microsoft.

Yes, you can import from P3D or FSX using MakeRunways.  MakeRunways is free from Pete Dowson, but as far as I know, you would have to buy P3D.  Unfortunately, the FS2020 scenery data is not the same format as FSX or P3D and MakeRunways has not been updated to work with FS2020.

The P2A User's Guide is in the Documentation folder of the P2A Installation.

so if I import scenery data from P3D I will not be able to use it in FS2020 ?

Is there way to get updated scenery data for FS2020 somehow?

Yes, you can use it in P2A while flying MSFS2020.  It may or may not match exactly the MSFS2020 scenery.  In fact, there are some ongoing issues being worked on in MSFS2020 related to airports and airport scenery.

There is no way to get the scenery data out of FS2020 that I know of.

I opened a ticket in Microsoft zendesk but for now there is no way to get the accurate taxiway instructions from ATC while flying MSFS 2020?

You can edit the taxiways manually in TaxiMnt to match FS2020, but this is a tedious process.

I would recommend you just press the Taxi button to the right of the map after you get the taxi instructions and follow the route on that map as closely as you can.

I don't have a time to edit it by myself. If it was easy proccess maybe I was do it but it doesn't. I don't have a problem to use the taxi button but

I want to make the experience more realistic and that's the reason that I wanted to use the charts instead of the taxi assistance, but unfortunately it is not possible.

Is there anything else to do for now ?
