We were recently informed from RXP that we had a setting from the GTN 750 configuration file that was set to true for ReduceRate. This was designed for slower computers and causes the refresh rate to drop from 30fps to 15fps.

We found we had to zoom into 1 NM to see a small difference. And that is much closer than you would ever need to be zoomed in. We tested again and the refresh rate is not noticeable at typical 2.5 or higher map scale settings.

This setting was enabled for our Lear35A V4.3c and Falcon 50 V2.0 or prior versions. (If your version is newer then ignore this post.)

 

Open the RXP GTN 750 option window:

1. Hover mouse over top of unit and Shift + Right click.

2. Scroll down to gauge options and un check the USE HALF-RATE SCREEN UPDATE

The RXP GTN 750 has been updated to ver 2.5.26 and works with the recent Garmin update GTN Trainer v6.62.4 (Garmin Trainers v2.7.1.0). 

RXP also updated their GNS 530W to v2.4.20.1
