May 25, 20206 yr I am working with the button version and notice a distinct bias towards the right channel in the stereo balance. I would understand if this is to simulate the FO being over there, but I hear it in the Captain's voice as well. I can hear this both with speakers and with headphones. Any ideas on how to remedy? Thanks. Jeff Bea I am an avid globetrotter with my trusty Lufthansa B777F, Polar Air Cargo B744F, and Atlas Air B748F.
May 26, 20206 yr Commercial Member Hi Jeff, We're using 3D sound. But when using a Headset the FO and Capt should come out the center channel and sound equal. If it doesn't sound equal when using the headset (HS selected on the FS2Crew Main Panel with the headset audio device selected), check your audio settings on your computer. Best, B. July 15, 20205 yr Author Thank you Bryan, Still hearing much more out of right speaker/earphone on P3DV4 HF3 than the left. Edited July 15, 20205 yr by ahuimanu Jeff Bea I am an avid globetrotter with my trusty Lufthansa B777F, Polar Air Cargo B744F, and Atlas Air B748F.

July 19, 20205 yr Commercial Member Even when you have "HS" pressed on the main panel and you have your audio device selected on the CFG panel? B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
July 20, 20205 yr Commercial Member We're using the XACT audio engine... for the "center channel" we send the audio to position 0,0,0 (center)... your audio hardware must somehow be processing that signal differently than normal. On my system, the sound even. Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
July 20, 20205 yr What is XACT audio engine? Everyting else is working fine (all other FS2Crew Products as well) I am using an Soundblaster Z. Thats set in my settings: I have just tried to change that to Headset, and did the audio test, and still only playing on the right side o.O This wasnt present in a prev. version. July 21, 20205 yr Commercial Member Wild guess....Try not using the "Pro Studio Software". Set "Stereo" in the Window Control Panel Audio Panel. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
July 21, 20205 yr I need to use the Pro Studio cause its part of the Audio Driver :-S No Idea where to set "Stereo" in Windows Audio COntrol Panel, there is no option for it. Isnt it a possibility to provide an "non 3d Sound" version too? Edited July 21, 20205 yr by Flyinggok Cheers, Bernd🌈✈️
July 21, 20205 yr Commercial Member It would make no difference... non 3D would still go to 0,0,0 based on our audio engine. You can't just use the stock Windows driver? Can you find this: I know Microsoft changes everything all the time... 🙂 B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
July 21, 20205 yr Set to Stereo, Sound is coming FL/FR but not with FS2Crew Aerosoft Pro :( Additional Info: The sound you get if you click a button on the FS2Crew interface are fully centered but not the voices. Voices are coming much more from the right side. Edited July 21, 20205 yr by Flyinggok Cheers, Bernd🌈✈️
July 22, 20205 yr Commercial Member I think your audio is crossed somehow. Try running the checklists, but do not press HS on the FS2Crew Main Panel. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
July 22, 20205 yr Its all the same, but how can it be my audio if its only happening with FS2Crew Airbus Pro Edition and with NOTHING else and I dont have this effect in prev. versions. Do you have probably older versions for me to test it w ith them too? Cheers, Bernd🌈✈️
July 22, 20205 yr Commercial Member I have no idea. We don't keep older versions. It's not our code or I'd have the unbalance audio too. It's something else. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
