I've spent some time there flying FSEconomy assignments, and as a fan of mountain flying I love the place.

The MS imagery down that way is good, but of course it is summer only. They have already shown one NZ video, Lake Takapō, so I'm pretty confident that we're not going to be overlooked! It would be interesting to know how the native bush vegetation will be represented.

The recent thread on visual scale offers the real hope that mountain flying will be impressive, not to mention scary!

If any of us get to test the tech alpha build, let's be sure to try this exact route (at least the final portion to landing ) - record it and compare to this great video!

Great country, fantastic scenery. Would love to go back and visit again one day.

Might be later than the rest (e.g. U.S. and Europe) to the party, but NZ through Orbx, Flightbeam, and of course Godzone's @toprob, have made it a very interesting destination to visit in P3D.
Hope to have a similar level of airport products in MSFS!
