September 13, 20196 yr Hey guys, I am just wondering can FSX work fine with LOD of 4.0 instead of 4.5, I have one system for PMDG MD-11 which only runs in FSX. I am mostly a 64bit sim guy. September 13, 20196 yr No worries. How has it worked out? I'm curious because people usually try to up the LOD rather than bring it down. I can't exactly recall when but someone had posted an interesting video here about a test they had done regarding stutters, scenery loading times and details. I am just trying to reduce VAS issues when flying with PMDG MD11 and few selected addons FS Global 2018NG Orbx Global, Vector, OpenLC NA, SA, EU FSDT Airports Flightbeam Airports ASN and Sky Force 3D (This is an amazing combo) DX10 Fixer 4.0 with Cloud Shadows ImagineSim KATL DD Washington X Overall with DX10 Fixer 4.0 + Cloud Shadows - truly makes FSX-SE a swan song moment. Amazing work Steve has done with his tool. MS should hire him for MSFS2020, he fixed things and pushed the boundaries even further.
