June 2, 20197 yr Hi, I'm using the PMDG 777 and I have a couple of Chase Plane cockpit views. For the external view, I use the S key. I noticed that if I do nothing for a time, then the view switchs to an external view that says 'Chase Plane view - Gimbal". Then I cannot come back to the onboard view with my usual joystick buttons. Only way to recover is to open Chase Plane. How can I avoid that "Gimbal view"? - TONY - MSFS2024 SU2 - PMDG 777-200ER - PMDG 777-300ER- Fenix A320 - iniBuilds A350 i7-14700KF 5.60 GHz - 32 GB DDR5 - RTX 4070 Ti Super - 32" 4K OLED G-SYNC 240 Hz
June 2, 20197 yr After a period of inactivity, CP will automatically change to external view. Although I do not know if this can be disabled, just move your mouse and it will get you back into the cockpit view. Mario Di Lauro
June 2, 20197 yr preferences->camera->cinematic mode->auto-enable slider. you can use the slider to adjust the time delay before it turns on the mode or you can turn it off by setting the slider to the leftmost position (it will say "Auto-Enable Disabled") cheers,-andy crosby
