incorrect spelling of "sierra" in taxi instructions

Featured Replies

I've just taxied to active in KLAX and got these instructions:

Quote

Alliance One Three Five Taxi to Runway Zero Six Left Via taxiways Delta, Siera, Echo, Bravo Bravo,  Hold Short Runway Zero Six Right, and Runway Zero Six Left

Note the spelling of Sierra = "Siera".  I only noticed because text-to-speech for this gives a slightly weird-sounding result.

Using P2A v 2.4.0.1_x64:

When using P2A Grammar Helper, and doing Training, Windows' "Speech Recognition Voice Training" is offering Training Text with Sierra spelled incorrectly, with one "r".   So the training text is wrong, which is presumably why speech recognition is returning "Siera", which is presumably why P2A says that an exactly correct readback is incorrect.  I.e., Speech recognition has been trained that it's "Siera" and when that's returned to P2A it doesn't match the controller's clearance in which it is spelled "Sierra".

Thanks for finding that.  I had searched the Grammar and Code and there were no single r spellings.

I've change the training scripts now.

As a work-around, you can make the same changes to the scripts and then re-do the speech training.  That should let it produce the right result.

Thanks again.
