I have not even had time to fly out of Baku into Frankfurt and we have another excellent FS9 scenery.  

 

Some work to do before I'm ready for a 'Deen departure. 

 

Feast after the famine... fantastic.

This time, I will take it slow and enjoy each release.

I keep stumbling on stuff released in the last Great Splurge and going: "Huh? When did I install that one??"   Or not, for that matter. I see my UK2000 Cardiff Extreme is still a demo install!

Awesome news! Now I have 3 sceneries to buy. Aberdeen, Frankfurt, and Buenos Aires (from Tropicalsim). Hopefully Frankfurt and Aberdeen will show up on Simmarket soon, I would like buy everything from one place if I can.

Working on a AI heli overlay afcad. In this video offshore Heli's are using Rwy 14, commercial stuff using Rwy 16. Still wip

Where'd you get the oil rig?

I'm really confused ..... I thought UK2000 made airport scenery .... I thought Aberdeen was on land, not offshore .....  how can you repaint Aberdeen? ..... what's with all the whirlybirds?

 

Yes, UK2000 only make airports for the UK.

 

Yes, Aberdeen is on land.

 

Aberdeen is a big town and you could repaint if you had enough time and buckets of paint!

 

The whirlybirds - Aberdeen is a big centre serving the off-shore oil industry in the North Sea and the 'copters ferry lots of personnel and materials to and fro.

Yes, I dont get to visit as often as I like though. Local airport flies An-2 and An-24.

Finally... got the AFCAD overlay to do what I want, the AI to behave somewhat, and the time to enjoy this super scenery!

Just a heads-up: there is an update for this scenery at UK2000.

DO remember to back up your custom AFCADs before the update runs.

I could've sworn I had them safely stowed, but seems not, alas.

 

Now the airliners disappear on landing, and the regionals park in my helo spots.
