August 26, 20169 yr I hear tell you must use a credit card. Does that include a prepaid card too (you know like the $100 Visas)? Cant find the answer anywhere, cheers.
August 26, 20169 yr Only way to find out is by using it. Most retailers accept prepaid cards these days. There was someone who was successful using a prepaid card in 2012: http://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=18040#p18040 \Robert Hamlich/
August 26, 20169 yr Author Right okay I see that, thanks, brother. Refunding would be a problem though I imagine but I can live with that.

August 27, 20169 yr Author So I go to buy with a generic Visa pre paid card (no name or address etc linked to it) and I see this and now wonder if this will block me from using the nameless prepaid Visa: "Note: The address entered should match the address which receives credit card statements for the card number entered above. This information will be used to further verify cardholder identity through the Address Verification System, a service offered by credit card issuers designed to combat fraud and identity theft."
August 27, 20169 yr Moderator Well, you can buy it, if it goes through, you're ok. If not - you need another card. Or you could email LM - probably the activation area and see what they say. I'd try buying it first. Vic RIG#1 - 7700K 5.0g ROG X270F 3600 15-15-15 - EVGA RTX 3090 1000W PSU 1- 850G EVO SSD, 2-256G OCZ SSD, 1TB,HAF942-H100 Water W1064Pro 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
