P3D payware question

Hey all. I have P3D Pro and was wondering if 'Academic' payware aircraft work with it? An example is the A2A T-6 Texan. I see there is a Academic and Pro version, with the Pro version being about $40 more. Wasn't sure if one could just buy the Academic one if they use P3D Pro or if they have to pay the extra cash for the 'Pro' version.

The A2A Academic will not work with the P3D Pro version.
