Best Add On For Night Lighting, then Ground Textures

Featured Replies

What is the best add on to make the night lighting better?  I mainly fly in North America and not interested in buying geographical areas if don't need to.

Any reviews or thoughts on GEX and UTX for P3D?

Thanks!

I also use UTX/GEXP3d and find it exceptional..

I use FTX Global with UTX USA 2.0 and love the combo however, I use the FTX lighting. I find the UTX lighting a lot harder on frames and doesn't look nearly as good IMO.

I love the UTX addition other than that.

LOL! I have exactly the opposite reaction. I think the UTX lights look better and are definitely lower on FPS than FTX & Vector. Of course, I dumped FTX Global and use the UTX/GEXP3D combination now and that has a better effect on fps - and looks better, IMHO.

Yes, UTX, I noticed a comment about turning the UTX lighting off during the day, because it is still using mem.

I turned it off during day flight to see difference in frames and there was no difference.
