August 31, 201411 yr Miscellaneous fixes for the G600 and STEC autopilot, especially useful if you are using one or two RXP GNS430s. Recent adds: Fixed GPS bearing pointer, Allow course adjustment when OBS button is pushed on GNS430. Previously: Changed STEC startup logic, Changed AP annunciator readouts, Added magenta LPV glidepath indicator, Disabled Alert messages, G600 brightness individually adjustable for VC and popup, minor visual fixes. September 1, 201411 yr Author I've also made available an optional patch that provides mouse wheel control for the knobs in the popup G600, similar to the VC version. Let me know if you would like a copy. Bert
September 1, 201411 yr So, how is this airplane now after the patch and fixes? The threads are a bit tough to follow. Also, does the altitude sound work on the STEC? It didn't on the Mirage and I made an LUA patch for that. Gregg Gregg Seipp "A good landing is when you can walk away from the airplane. September 2, 201411 yr Author My guess is that your LUA patch would come in handy... the gauges are a port-over from the JetProp. Bert
September 2, 201411 yr I've been looking for the altitude 'sound' so that I can package the script up and upload it. I 'borrowed' mine from another aircraft. It would work on any airplane. As I've mentioned before, the Jetprop was a CTD city on my machine and I suspected the Avidyne was the reason...so I'm a bit afraid to attempt the Seneca V. September 2, 201411 yr Author No Avidyne in the Seneca.. but I would suggest that you do need to have at least one RXP GNS430 for this airplane. Bert
September 2, 201411 yr No Avidyne in the Seneca.. but I would suggest that you do need to have at least one RXP GNS430 for this airplane. Hmmm...I've been pondering getting that for a looooong time. Obviously, P3D has really slowed that thought process. Also, the nav data. I might do it without the Unlimited. Largely, I'd only want it for the fully functional 430 option...and for airplanes that can't take a 530. Gregg Seipp "A good landing is when you can walk away from the airplane.
