I tweaked my NI settings and installed latest Nvidia driver and I am getting amazing performance on a PC equipped with a 660   :Shocked:  :dance:

 

All settings maxed except for water and LOD is at 4.5

I'm using ACTIVE SKY 2012 for weather with max cloud settings.

for NI I picked:

So are you leaning more toward P3D then X-plane now?

From what I have noticed is that Global is the reason, not sure what they did but since installing global I can crank the scenery settings up like never before, wild.

I didn't touch vsync but yes on the "locked 30fps" and "unlimited" in sim.

my settings in ActiveSky 2012 were low, after a few tweaks to max cloud settings I finally got some decent looking 3D clouds :Peace:

I think it's the autogen draw calls being more efficient because I'm seeing great performance as well.

20-25fps on my pc over a Flytampa/ Aerosoft Airports for me.  FTXG is still great on fps at FL in a heavy.

Sounds about right.  I have a 660 and I have all FSX settings on Max (except Traffic at 50%) and I typically sit against my external FPS limiter of 30 in the NGX.  It varies depending on what airport I am going in to because of traffic loads, but it still sits around 20-25 to an international heavy airport because of high traffic.  I have no frame hits going into FlyTampa airports.  I have yet to try an FSDreamteam airport.
