May 30, 201214 yr It's really awesome. My only complaint is the complicated messing around with textures to adjust the repaints. I wish they had given us the needed new files in a seperate folder so it would be easy to just copy them over. But a very minor grumble - this is a huge step forward and has made an already excellent product even better Do you use FS2crew? If so how does it work with the update and does it have to be reinstalled? Second the great VC texture updates for a warn cockpit look, do they work? Second the great VC texture updates for a warn cockpit look, do they work? iFly confirmed Fs2Crew works perfectly with the feature pack. May 30, 201214 yr Author FS2Crew works, both manual and voice, as long as appropriately selected in the (heavily revised) Configuration Manager. Maybe in future Bryan York will update the iFly version to better reflect the new capabilities The thitd party VC textures (clean, worn and signage) do not work after the FP. Authors have been invited to provide new versions of their work to suit the FP. BTW the iFly members forum contains instructions for the preparation of a batch file to make the copying of gauge and VC textures into third party repaints easier.

Sorry Dillon. I have FS2Crew for some other products but not for this one. And although the textures are much better - especially at night - I don't use the worn ones. Hopefully someone else can help you out. My guess is that there are enough significant changes that FS2Crew will have to issue an update

June 2, 201214 yr so far looks good. vc night lighting somewhat improved but still a flood light that lights up overhead as well as the forward panel. my old vc light mod still works better so i'll stick w/ that. now, i'll need to spend time copying repaints.... Can you post some screenshots? I know it's free and I appreciate what iFly has done I just haven't felt the need to install it yet. June 2, 201214 yr Some will never be happy. Actually I'm very happy that's why I'm staying with what I have for now. I haven't found a real compelling reason to upgrade. The VC is basically the same, the VC textures that I love are no longer compatible, wing views haven't been added, night lighting hasn't fully been addressed, the speed brake handle in the VC still doesn't work, the model I have now is awesome, the current sound package is amazing, the current FDE is awesome, I don't feel like the hassle of messing around with all my repaints, and last but not least reinstalling FS2crew. They took so long in getting this update out many of us just settled into the existing product as if that was the final version (heck other developers have promised and not delivered). All in all iFly did such an outstanding job with the last update that upgrading now doesn't give that 'I gotta have it' feeling. I'll get to it when I get to it, I still have a great package as it stands now. The things that would make me run to update the package, go through the hassle of re installing everything is what I mentioned above. None of that is there. For some reason it doesn't feel like I'm missing much. With PMDG there were screenshots galore but with iFly's latest update I'm not seeing anything that's being shown off about this update. Like what was said earlier, 'People are too busy flying it' I guess. June 2, 201214 yr this is with vc lights off feature pack vc light on (flood light), much better than the original release. modified vc lights, overhead will not light up, more subtle lighting. flood light button=on flood light button=wing light sw=on (pseudo 2 level lighting) fs9 is my platform for tubeliners but as for fighters, helicopters, and ga slow'n low, fsx is awsome. this ifly release will keep me on fs9. June 2, 201214 yr The VC night lighting looks decent enough. Much the same as what I have now. I'll upgrade when I get around to it. I have one question though, what do you feel is the drop dead feature with this update that is a must have where you can't go back to what you had before?
