December 20, 201114 yr Greetings all,I'm drawing a blank on this one. Trying to program the FMC to draw a 4.1 mile circle around a waypoint (to be used as reference during a departure). I'm sure there's a way to do it, but I can't find it in the FCOM. Any suggestions would be appreciated (and extra bonus points if you can tell me which page it's on). Many thanks. Ron Priever
December 20, 201114 yr From legs page, select the FIX you want to the FMC scratchpadFIX page, copy the FIX into the boxes LSK1L./4.1 below that to get a 4.1 DME ring.Cheers Matt Cee

January 10, 201214 yr Is it possible to set a runway in the fix page as in the real bird?Up there we use to set 10NM and 4NM rings from the threshold for situational awareness. and 4.2NM for the landing runway when circling but it keeps saying "NOT IN DATABASE" when entering RWXX Any idea?cheers
January 10, 201214 yr It is possibe in the real aircarft (as far as I know...) but not in the PMDG´s NGX Edited January 10, 201214 yr by ega Edmundo Azevedo
January 10, 201214 yr You're right. It is.I'll keep using the closest station and correcting the distances thenThanks!
January 10, 201214 yr I believe you need to grab the runway from the legs page, not just type it in on the FiX page. Matt Cee
January 10, 201214 yr On the legs page the runway will appear as RWXX, same format. I tried to copying it too but still "NOT IN DATABASE".Runway rings are useful specially on circling approaches to depict the protected areas.

Maybe using imported routes cause trouble ? )Fred. Edited January 10, 201214 yr by RYR738 Frederic Steiner.
