Almost a trivia question, yet I wonder about these things. I see so often, "Open Letter to xxxx about yyyy", as a title to some posts.What made people begin to use that type of wording, and how is an open letter different from a letter, and is a letter different from a post? Inquiring minds NEED to know!B

Well, i guess a letter you send to a specific preson in private, but an open letter you aim at someone but the pulic can see it.Mike
