Yeah it's a great guitar - the PRS is more versatile in terms of sounds overall though, it's got more pickup selection options, it's made out of different woods etc. The guitar I have is the signature model of John Petrucci from the band Dream Theater and it's tailored to the sounds he uses. (which are good sounds but not every sound you can make with a guitar)Ok, back your regularly scheduled NGX discussion haha.

I sent Dan an email a couple of days ago and havn't heard back. I was just checking in with him. I have no idea what's up, but it is sad when he was posting like 20 times a day, and then to disapear. Miss him, though, as he was a great asset to the community!

Haha yeah, no big deal - I didn't know if you knew guitars or not. I play through a Diezel VH4 amplifier. I'm gonna buy a Blackstar HT-5 mini-stack for home recording/practice soon I think too, very cool little head.

right on man. Im using:8x10 8x12 12x14 w/legs 14x16w/legs 5x14 Maples Sanre (10 and 6 ply) + 5x14 Brass Snare. 16x20 Bass Drums in Broken Glass Finish. 9000 pedals and hardware and Zildjian Cymbals, REMO Heads and Vater sticks, nice to see someone on here playing drums.Ron Hamilton
