July 11, 200223 yr Teterboro is my old "stomping ground", was there for some 15+ years. Much has changed over the years there too!;-)At TEB, I would try either Teterboro School of Aeronautics, or my former FBO, Million Air. The latter has a very nice operation, though it is not inexpensive.http://www.millionairteb.com/Also, over at Caldwell (CDW) Mac Dan would be an excellent choice if you like Cessna, or Caldwell Flight Academy if you would prefer Piper.Prices are a bit more reasonable at CDW when compared to TEB.http://www.macdan.com/http://www.caldwellflight.com/A longer ride over to Morristown, MMU, would bring you Century Flight Academy, run by a friend of a good friend of mine, who is a former AA captain, Richard Greene. http://www.centuryair.com/cfa/cfa_dyn_home.asp?cid=1Yup, I started learning to fly when I was around your age, so it is indeed a good time to start looking into this.Perhaps you'll wind up like me, and get your pilot's license before your driver's license! I was so busy on the flying end, I forgot the driving side and did not get that license until 3 months later!! :-eekRegards,http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...R_FORUM_LOU.jpg
