Aircraft crashes into crowd of people in San Dimas CA

Featured Replies

CNN is now reporting that a small GA aircraft has crashed in to crowd of people in San Dimas CA. Two incidents in the LA area within a short period? I pray to God its simply a coincidence.Elrond

Yep. I live in Southern California and all the local stations jumped on the two incidents. The GA aircraft that scrahed in San Dimas appears to be a cessna of some kind, but not really sure.Ryan-Flightpro08 :-coolTaxiwaysigns.com

I don't see any sign of fire...perhaps the pilot took off without fuel?!?

or... ran out of fuel while in cruise

The Cessna 301 pilot apparently called in with an engine failure after take-off, then crashed, no fire. Lack of fuel is looking like a good candidate. (Note to self - make sure I have fuel before starting engines..oh right, I do!)And not all local stations are all over this. KTLA has nothing. See the thread about it I just posted, "Major activity in LA, plane crash & LAX shooting, but"
