June 30, 201015 yr Any word on when and whether "position and hold" (FAA speak) will ever be changed to "line up and wait" (all the rest of the world)? Dan George (woodhick)Check out Greenbrier Aero Club, the VA for and about the GA pilot.
June 30, 201015 yr Author Any word on when and whether "position and hold" (FAA speak) will ever be changed to "line up and wait" (all the rest of the world)? It should actually be "line up rwy xx and wait", another correction worth making to RC. By the way, Canada recently made the transition. Further, the UK has it a bit different as well. Would increase the immersion (and number of wavs!) to hear the different variations.
