Oh, the good old days of Project Freeware's mega releases advertised on AVSIM.It would be nice to repeat history with 50kb files sizes and only 8 textures. Now we have files in excess of 2 meg and 60-70 textures.Brent/PF

Hi Elrond,I can recall AVSIM back then too. I used to belong to FSFORUM at CompuServe, way back in '94 (FS5, ATP), then moved on up to a "list server" (called "the list"- still exists too), then finally this iteration of AVSIM. In fact, it was AVSIM that prompted me to move on from the flight sim magazine subscriptions. Seems like yesterday....Good article,Bruce.
