November 29, 200619 yr After landing at the lake and loading uo how do we reverse away from the loading platform please?Cliff
November 29, 200619 yr Thanks. After posting the question it occurred to me that I could SLEW backwards. Also that I could try approaching the dock lengthwise rather than nose first. Thanks for coming back with the answer so quickly.Cliff
November 29, 200619 yr Hi Cliff,And you can use differential throttle. Jozef K. http://homepages.onsnet.nu/~jkusters/signature.jpg
November 30, 200619 yr Moderator Also read somewhere in the FSX docs that you should approach the dock from the side and raise the wing float on the inboard side. Sort of makes the body of the a/c the cross bar in the letter "T" with the dock being the long base of the letter. Now, aren't you glad you asked? :)VicVisit the Virtual Pilot's Centerwww.flightadventures.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/ RIG#1 - 7700K 5.0g ROG X270F 3600 15-15-15 - EVGA RTX 3090 1000W PSU 1- 850G EVO SSD, 2-256G OCZ SSD, 1TB,HAF942-H100 Water W1064Pro 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
November 30, 200619 yr If someone ever get into a hurry for ... whatever reason :) he/she could also drive up on the beach (wheels down) and take a trip back into the water. Just stay away from trees and *ahem* any other solid objects that may be closeby ;)
December 11, 200619 yr the easy way for me (after i got mangled by the snakes first time round) was to line up with the the plane facing away from the inlet and just reverse in(shift+p) not forgetting to turn pushback of when u reach the dock then you can power out as quickly as possible.
