Strange video problem

System is a P4 3.4, 2G ram - nVidia 6800 card running 2 monitors.Generally have no problems with frame rates, stutters, etc.However,had something happen today for the first time that has me puzzled - how to explain it.After taking off, in normal 2D cockpit view - if I look left with the hat switch - there is a slight pause and the display shows the initial view at the gate - IOW - the same view as when I was parked on the ground! This lasts for a split second and then the view I want to see is displayed.
