Flysimware Turboprop Aircraft

  1. Started by ShadowHawkPrime,

I'm quite happy to read the quite favorable review of your newly available Cessna 414! One of my favorites of yours for a prior version of Flight Simulator was its turboprop cousin. I'll hold out hope for a MSFS 2020 edition that's as impressive as your new 414. Keep it up!

  2. Started by VFR Raider,

I’ve been flying the 414 for several months and was enjoying using the Vnav for longer, higher altitude flights. I chose to fly the 414 the past few days and I cannot get Vnav to work, in any livery or variant. t worked perfectly a few weeks ago, so I am not sure what’s wrong. Constraints are listed, altitudes set correctly as is the flight plan and autopilot. Xbox X – I only fly the 414 after full console shutdown.

  3. Hi everyone! Just wondering if anyone can throw me a rope here… I’m having major issues maintaining a steady pitch during climb and cruise. The plane keeps bouncing all over the place — climbing at 1500 ft/min, then dropping to 500 ft/min, and sometimes even going negative. I honestly can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. I’ve got real-world experience, over 1000 hours on VATSIM, and plenty of time in the Comanche, C172, default Learjet, and some airliners. I usually hand-fly pitch manually in the Comanche, C172, and Learjet without any issues, so I like to think I’ve got a decent handle on maintaining a constant climb. But with this one, it’s just super tricky…

OKAY, I got everything working but the\NAV HOLD on the autopilot is still acting erratically. Sometimes it works flawlessly, other times half way or so to a waypoint it puts the plane into a left bank and flies it in circles. The ALT function works fine. I always restart my computer before making a flight in the MU-2. but I don't think memory is the problem. I have made a flight from Ketchikan Alaska to Seattle with no problems. Is anyone else having this issue, and if so, do you have any suggestions to offer? Have a good day.

  5. Hello Noble Airmen I have encountered heavy probs when starting up the C414. I have no problems with other aircrafts,PMDG 737,PC12 etc. Following the checklist from cold and dark when starting engine 2 (left or right) engine 1 stop. The default autostart (ctr+E) dosent help, same result. Disconnecting the Honneycomb Yoke trying to start engines with mouse clicks give same result. I have gone through all joystick and keyboard commands so i dont have buttens assighned twice to the same command. Still no luck, dammed with problems with such a nice plane ;O( Any input are much appreciated.

  6. Started by WestEnd,

Hi, I bought the Chancellor in the current sale. I am having difficulty getting Nav 2 to work. In the liveries with the GNS 530, when I tune the Nav 2 radio, the CDI for Nav 2 doesn't respond, so I can only use Nav 1 as tuned in on the GNS 530. When I load up the liveries with 2 PMS GTN 750s, whatever I enter on the left unit, also transfers accross to the right unit, so I cannot tune one of them for Nav 1, and the other for Nav 2. Am I missing something here, or is the lack of Nav 2 a bug in the plane? Thanks
