VA News and Announcements

A forum for news releases and announcements from Virtual Airlines.

  1. Started by erict,

We're very pleased to announce the latest world class virtual airline based on Thai Airways International. We're really happy with the way it has turned out and I expect this VA to do quite well. Thai serves more Asian destinations than any other airline in the world. Ever wanted to fly to Kathmandu, Vientiane, Bandar Seri Begawan or Danang? Not to mention all the domestic routes including Phuket & Chiang Mai. Thai has a nice fleet to boot! Very nice website with fully automated features using .ASP technology. Take a look: http://Thai.virtualATP.org Have fun, Eric Thorntonhttp://www.cpavirtual.org/Thai/images/Thaibanner2.jpghttp://Thai.virtualatp.org

AirWeGo Group PRExpansions continue at UK based VA group, AirWeGo. With routing a priority, the newly formed routing team are busily putting together a program of destinations that they feel will attract even more pilots. Recruitment has always been of great importance to the VA and this continues."We have always been able to attract first class pilots, but when less experienced applicants sign up, they are given an unbeatable training program." says CEO Richard Myers."We are achieving our success through these pilots, so we feel the program is totally justified. So anyone wishing to join a VA that understands newer flightsimmers should contact us at airwegogroup.co.uk."…

In the coming months I will start to lay the foundation for a new kind of Virtual Airline. I have chosen to base it on the small New England based airline Cape Air. This airline also services Florida and the Caribbean. One of the main reasons for choosing this airline is because I am also an employee for Cape Air. I stated earlier that this is a new kind of VA and it will be. There are two main features that I will be working on that will allow this VA to be unique. One will be support from the actual airline itself. The other will be the use of FSMaintenance. As far as the involvement of the real Cape Air, well, that will be announced once I have a presentation to provid…

Minneapolis, MN- July 3rd 2002 Sun Country Virtual Airlines aquired a couple new planes to help support the continued growth of the airline. The FS2002 GMAX B1900D and FS2000 B1900D were released as a new airframe type to the US based carrier. "The 1900 is to give our pilots and passengers a little more variety on some of our shorter regional flights." said one of SCVA's fleet developers Jason Tighe. In a suprize to everyone, SCVA also released the new GMAX model of the Saab 340B for FS2002. "The Saab was pretty much an in house undercover project for our pilots. We had some bad experiances with some of the earlier versions of the plane and wanted something we had a littl…

don't take that the wrong way, it is not meant as a romantic advance. I am looking for dedicated, creative and mature (I don't care what your age is, I just don't handle people who behave in an immature way) people to help me start a new VA. If you are interested please contact me on MSN at [email protected] or by email at [email protected] I will let you know right from the start that I want it to be a realistic VA, but fun at the same time (I think such a thing is possible) If you are looking for a change of scenery, or are just getting into the Virtual Airline world I still want you on my team. I don't care if you are a pilot, painter, manager, web designer or all of th…

The AirWeGo Virtual Airline Group have been going through many changes of late with new aircraft, livery and routes, and during this time, the helicopter division, Vertigo, has gone largely overlooked. But in deepest Humberside, there is plenty of noise coming from the very busy premises of Vertigo. Steve Chase, Vertigo boss told us all about it.
