Don t moderate me this way's post in Aerosoft Airbus X Extended - Correct Name? was marked as the answerSince the box reads '2012' (like in "Airbus version is outdated"), you'll have to
use the serial key from the box, head over to Aerosoft's FAQ/Updates database: http://support.aerosoft.com/support.php?language=en, register yourself and your Airbus there download the latest version 1.16 full installer (and, if you like to, the MCE locked version) install the full version 1.16 head over to the dedicated Aerosoft Airbus X forum download hotfix 019: http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/75120-hotfix-019-additional-fixes-that-did-not-made-it-into-116/ apply the HF after installing v1.16 and be a happy (Airbus) bunny. Don t moderate me this way's post in axe with as next was marked as the answerYou have to add it manually to the AXE's panel.cfg. (As a 2D window.)
The automatic XGauge installer doesn't work for the AXE.
It's probably the best to auto-install the XGauge into a default aircraft first, so you know the lines to copy and paste into the AXE's panel.cfg. Mind, though, the AXE variants feature different panel.cfg's. You either have to identify 'your' panel.cfg (if you only fly a single livery/variant), or manually install into all of them.
EDIT: Take care of your AXE window numbering - if the AXE's panel.cfg has N 2D windows, make the XGauge your 2D window no. N+1. And back up those panel.cfg's before you start!

Don t moderate me this way's post in asn textures was marked as the answerNo texture sets in ASN. You can use any texture replacement set (like REX Ess+OD or REX4) or freeware cloud textures, or the default FSX textures, or your AS2012 textures.
ASN includes sounds for hail (amazing!!!) and a 'windshear' callout based on ASN windshear depiction.
As an AS2012 owner you are entitled to the discounted ASN upgrade offer.

Don t moderate me this way's post in XGAUGE problem was marked as the answerI don't remember exactly, but:
When I noticed that with one of my aircraft, I opened its panel.cfg and correct the XGauge window definition according to another aircraft's panel.cfg, where XGauge worked flawlessly (copy & overwrite in Notepad, for example).

Don t moderate me this way's post in Airbus Extended or Airbus Evolution? was marked as the answerI use RXP wx radar in both PMDG and Aerosoft Airbus. It's only a separate 2D window, no overlay on the ND, but it works.
The Wilco wx radar is just a joke: Radar tilt is fixed to the aircraft attitude. No way to see the wx below in a climb. In most descents the tilt only returns ground clutter.

http://forum.avsim.net/topic/392193-grid-in-higher-latitudeswhat-is-it/?p=2528303
It's on the ND, not on the PFD.
No, you can't edit topic titles yourself!

Don t moderate me this way's post in No. of 'Say again'? was marked as the answerYou're curious?
I didn't post the answer before because I wasn't sure whether I'd be opening a can of worms for Tegwyn.
Now since you're asking:
Tegwyn sent me a replacement config file where the no. of repeats can be changed manually by the user (he defaulted it to 5 repeats for his reply to me).
Will check it out this evening ...

Don t moderate me this way's post in Airbus X Rudder issue was marked as the answerThe autorudder option requires two settings:
- one, as mentioned, in the FSX settings
- the other one within the Airbus simulation: There's an option accessible via the right MCDU - Options/Flight/Auto rudder

Don t moderate me this way's post in texture problem with FTX Australia was marked as the answerChances are, you missed some switching back and forth with FTX Central. Installation order is important, too, with ORBX products.
The official ORBX forum has a few pinned threads concerning thorough uninstalling and correct (re)installing of their products (registered-users-only section), in case things get complicated with servicepacks, patches and multiple FTX product layers.
I'd suggest you start with those.
