October 14, 20232 yr Happy Halloween and welcome to Salem Massachusetts, famous for the Salem Witch Trials of the late 1600s which was an effect of mass hysteria caused by political and literature rhetoric. Although the trials took place almost 100 years before Halloween was recognized, Salem has a month-long event celebrating Halloween and is known as the witch capital of the modern world. As Salem does not have its own airport, we will fly into Boston that is located 13 miles south of Salem. Canadian Xpress would like to invite all pilots to join us on Saturday, October 28th at 21h00edt (Sunday 01h00z) for our October 2023 fly-in where we depart from Halifax (CYHZ) and fly to Boston (KBOS).
