October 3, 20223 yr After updating to Windows 11 I get annoying popups on the internet about approving a phone number. This video and webpage shows how to remove a Windows feature called Phone Link. It worked for me, now no more annoying popups when PC Windows websites want to turn on my phone. First of all Micorsoft.com official pages says you no longer can remove it. But you can using powershell. Here's two links to show you how to axe it, thus enhancing your security: 1) Open PowerShell as Administrator. Go to Start Menu > PowerShell > Right click > Run as administrator 2) Run the following command in PowerShell and press enter: Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.YourPhone -AllUsers | Remove-AppxPackage 3) Phone link will be removed from your device. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/963543/uninstall-phone-link.html 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel.
