March 6, 20224 yr Where can I find instructions on how to use the pin to designate the end of the pushback?- the latest manual does include this.
March 6, 20224 yr Commercial Member It's very simple. It's designed that you don't need a manual. Just select "Distance Pushback Mode" on the PBE 'Settings Panel". Then it'll be obvious how to set the pin because you'll see the panel. Each item has a tool tip should you want more info. Let me know if you require further help. Cheers, B. Do you see the panel that allows you to move the pin so you can place it on the taxiway line? Send me a screen shot of what you see. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
March 7, 20224 yr Author I am having a problem posting a screen shot. However I have pushback in distance mode and see the pin icon next to the arrows. The arrows work but I cannot do anything with the pin- I have tried selecting it and dragging it- I am not sure what I am supposed to do.

The version of PBE shown in the video is out of date (some things have since changed), but the idea is the same: B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
March 7, 20224 yr Author After more than an hour playing around with the app, I am starting to see the way it is intended to operate. However I would like to make the following points- 1) I find it far from intuitive and feel that an updated manual would be useful to define the order of selections. 2) The current version does not seem as user friendly as the one in the video- you cannot easily increase or reduce the position of the arrows and seems to require the arrows icon to be selected and deselected. 3) The aircraft always stops some distance behind the arrows. 4) Although I have selected the options for tooltips they do not appear on the control panel.

This mode is an "intermediate" mode to the next the mode the program will have. Right now, this "Distance" mode was not designed to be exact/accurate when you get pushed to the end of the pushback, there will be a new version/update which will allow to make a pushback route (and much more), and also be more accurate than the "Distance" mode. I can't tell much details now, because there is not any roadmap or dates for release, what I can tell you is it will allow to do more stuff than it's now. However, at this moment we are focused on releasing CRJ version. About the tool tips, you can't see it in the MSFS window? or in the external window? However, Cheers, Manuel Edited March 7, 20224 yr by Manuel82
